Job Description: Dream Design Studio is currently looking for a talented 3D Artist Intern to join our tightly-knit team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating fun and exciting 3D models for VR and AR. You will work alongside our amazing 3D art team to create visually stunning models, textures, and concepts for games and virtual reality platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and enhance your skills in a professional and supportive environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Creating and Learning Artworks: Assist and learn to create high-quality 3D models, textures, characters, environments, props, and other elements.
• Artistic Consistency: Ensure artwork follows the agreed project style.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other 3D artists, designers, developers, animators, graphic designers, and members of the management and marketing teams.
• Feedback Implementation: Take on board and implement feedback from the art lead by making appropriate changes to the artwork you’ve produced.
• Meeting Deadlines: Work to deadlines to help the team produce products efficiently and in line with the required schedule.
• Skill Development: Keep your skillset up to date and learn about new software as we teach you gradually.

• Communication and Teamwork: Good communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with other game artists and team members.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently for extended periods.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to learn within deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with the desired style.
• Software Knowledge: Basic knowledge and technical ability to effectively use software packages and tools such as 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Maya, ZBrush, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of VR: A good understanding of the VR space.
• Passion for VR and Games: A knowledge of, and passion for, VR space and the games industry.
• Self-Starter: Able to follow the initiative and learn and adapt quickly in a start-up environment.
• Passion for 3D Modeling: A strong passion for modeling and a dedication to creating 3D visuals.
